It took me about a week to prepare for the SC-900 Practice Test. I gave myself one week to prepare for the SC-900 exam. During that time, I spent about 23 hours per day going over the course material.
As for my exam preparation, I decided to study for the SC-900 for a week. Over this time, I spent about 23 hours a day reviewing the materials.
Heres what I used:
Microsoft Learn: Great for learning the basics. It covers all exam objectives clearly.
John Savills SC-900 Exam Cram (YouTube): Short and easy to follow. Perfect for quick revision.
SkillCertExams Practice Tests: I found these to be excellent.
My Study Plan:
Days 12: Completed Microsoft Learn modules.
Days 34: Revised weak areas of SkillCertExams.
Days 56: Watched revision videos and re-read notes
Day 7 (Exam Day): Took one final SkillCertExams test in the morning scored around 84%, which gave me confidence.
Practice Test Review:
SkillCertExams:
Questions feel very close to the real exam. Explanations are clear and detailed. Shows your weak topics so you can focus better.
Microsoft Learn Practice Exam:
Good for checking your understanding but not as challenging..
MeasureUp:
Okay, but a bit expensive and harder than the real exam.
My Exam Experience:
The actual exam had a mix of multiple-choice, drag-and-drop, and checkbox questions.
I didnt mark any questions for review I trusted my first answers and managed to finish with about 15 minutes left.
Some tricky areas for me were:
Microsoft Purview and Priva
Compliance Manager
Zero Trust concepts
Overall, it was a bit harder than the AZ-900, but still doable if you study consistently.
My Tips for You:
Use SkillCertExams its the closest to the real exam.
Go through Microsoft Learn modules at least once.
Focus on Identity, Compliance, and Security concepts.
Read all the explanations in SkillCertExams dont just memorize answers.
Im really happy to have passed!
If youre planning to take the SC-900, I definitely recommend SkillCertExams for practice. It made a big difference for me.
