How to do the IMAP setting in the SBCGlobal mail setting

When you open the IMAP setting, the Very first thing you may find to fill up may be the incoming server address. In this box, you have to mention the server address as Imap.mail.att.net. Now, in the next box, you may find the column IMAP port number that should be either of 995 or 993, and it depends on whether you have chosen the SSL or not. It should be 993 if you have chosen the SSL, otherwise 995. Now, in the next box provided you may be asked to choose the SSL/TLS. It is totally up to you whether to choose or not. But, as per my advice you should take the SSL to make your account more secure. Now, next, you may be asked to provide the IMAP username and the IMAP password. In the field given for IMAP username, you may have to fill up the AT&T username, and in the field given for the password, you may have to fill up the SBCGlobal.net password.
